This inn perfectly matches the charm of the village, super cozy and with a nostalgic, almost timeless feel, yet offering all the modern comforts. Our room was spacious and spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom included a tub, just as we had requested. The restaurant was also excellent, we really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return!

The Fox’s 4 luxury river mews rooms boast Cotswold stone walls and wooden beams, with traditional pub rooms also available. All rooms feature a TV, private bathroom and fishing rights for a private area of the river, with expert lessons also available. The location was perfect,nicely situated in the cotsworlds, without being a tourist stop. The hotel looks amazing, we enjoyed sitting outside by the river with our drinks and in the evening, whilst also enjoying a wonderful meal in the restaurant and a last drink in the bar. The building is old but feels newly renovated, old beams and brick work mix well with the more modern bathroom. Staff were amazing and very friendly

The Crown Inn is a beautiful building dating from 1633. Surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside, you can enjoy excellent views across the Golden Valley. Everything was great, to be honest. The breakfast was very good, staff was very friendly. Comfortable and big room. Beautiful small town, that you can explore walking. We had dinner twice at the pub and food and environment was lovely. We would repeat for sure!

Kate was very lovely. it's pretty close to Stroud centre, was 15 min walk? taxi was cheap getting back to the place. parking isn't the worst and is the same as most small street parking. room was nice and warm, bed was comfy. lovely selection of tea and coffee.
