Guests can try fly-fishing on the River Coln, which is a 5-minute walk away, whilst Cirencester is a 10-minute drive away. The village of Bibury is just 5 minutes by car. This is a great little spot. My room was comfortable and charming and overlooked the lovely homes across the street. I had dinner breakfast and lunch and all three were great. The village is tiny and quiet and has some charming buildings. I learned from visiting the church nearby that the New Inn has historical Significance as a center of social and civic life.

The Fox’s 4 luxury river mews rooms boast Cotswold stone walls and wooden beams, with traditional pub rooms also available. All rooms feature a TV, private bathroom and fishing rights for a private area of the river, with expert lessons also available. We loved everything; - staff very friendly and super helpful - breakfast was great - location was beautiful and right on the river and overlooking fields - room was comfortable and a lovely new bathroom.

The location was excellent. Short walking distance into town with its many restaurants, bars & shops. We didn’t have a car and managed to either walk (we like to walk long distances) or bus to nearby towns. The guest house was lovely. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and bed (double size) and bedding very comfortable. Our hosts Wendy & Clive were so friendly and accommodating. Included breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We were celebrating an anniversary while there and Wendy added a few surprise treats.

It was perfect for a romantic and relaxing getaway for two!

Great place to stay on the Cotswold Way - Kay was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed - great breakfast, and solid location only about 1/3 mile off of the Cotswold way if you are walking.
