The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.9 km from Botanical Garden of Caen. Emilie was expecting us and greeted us promptly and gave us lots of good information. Breakfast was served in our room and delivered right on time and as ordered. Absolutely delightful. The room was spacious and beautifully finished.

It is especially well-located for visiting the D-day landing beaches and associated museums and memorials in the area - the memorial museum in Caen was a particular highlight. It was also very easy to reach Bayeux, which was beautiful. There are bikes available at La Maison and we spent one day visiting some of the beaches along the cycle path, which was very special.
