The room although a little small was very well compensated by the perfect location close to the shopping area, the old town and the beach as well as close to the bus station. The room was very clean and well equipped and close to many restaurant. San Sebastian has a lot to offer as culture, wonderful food and beautiful beaches and well located close to Bilbao with the amazing Guggenheim museum and French towns such as Biarriz.

Pensión Kursaal is newly refurbished and features rooms with modern furniture and parquet floors. They come with flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom with hairdryer and a work desk. San Sebastian is a gem. Pension Kursal is in a wonderful location in the less touristy neighborhood of Gros. 2 minutes from beach, 10 minutes from train and bus station and a quick walk over a bridge to old town. The Staff was kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. San Sebastian is the most expensive city in Spain but well worth it.

The train station is about a 15-minute walk away. The train journey to San Sebastián takes 12 minutes. Very convenient. I recommend as a stop near San Sebastián.

We have meet the host Daniel, he provided us with many tips and a very interesting guide for San Sebastian. There were free drinks in the fridge too! We could not ask for more and felt very mich at home.
