This family-run guest house is quietly situated in Stadt Wehlen in the heart of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, directly below the world-famous Bastei rock formation. It offers free WiFi.

All rooms, suites and studios at Pension am Nationalpark feature modern interiors and include a flat-screen TV as well as a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. Firstly, we were happy to be staying in a family-run hotel and to be able to support a family business. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, giving us tips for what to do and where to go and even for restaurants in the area as we were there during Christmas and the selection was very limited. We were also kept up to date about the weather and various other conditions in the general area. The breakfast was amazing, including the selection of the family's homemade jams. There were so many that we couldn't try them all! Fresh bread, loads of cold cuts and eggs, a huge variety of cereals, and fresh fruit.

A breakfast buffet is served every morning at Pension Dresdener Panorama. Very clean and organized place. Everyday housekeeping was perfect! Clear instructions for self check-in. A kettle and complimentary coffee/tea in the room. Only a 5-minute walk to the bus stop. There is a direct bus from/to the central train station. There is also a big supermarket only 5 minutes down the street.
