This pension is situated on the edge of the village and is very quiet. A pleasant walk through the village, out the other side then down a very steep and beautiful path will take you to Stat Vehlen, which is a pretty little town on the Elbe with a ferry across to the station. The path certainly keeps you fit on the return journey. The room was commodious, the bathroom equally so. Facilities in the room were good, but basic, to make hot drinks or get a beer, guests have access to the kitchen area through a different door. Breakfast was very good, a boiled egg awaits you when you sit down, there is the usual collection of meats and cheeses, yoghurt, bread, fresh fruit and so on. I really liked it.
