The room was recently renovated, and we’re glad that they kept a German touch ;) The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, fresh and there was enough choice. I’m very thankful for the fresh glutenfree sandwiches I got every morning. ☺️ Upon our arrival, we received free tickets from Ben, so we were able to freely use the public transport during our whole staying. Really practical, since there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And Cochem is just a 9 minutes bus ride away. Ernst was a perfect location from which we could easily travel and visit other villages allong the Moselle region. We enjoyed our vacation and will certainly come back to this hotel!

Delicious and very democratically priced wines to be enjoyed. It's a perfect basis for exploring hikes and wines in the region.

Very comfortable place to stay while touring the Mosel River by bicycle. The breakfast was well presented and satisfying. Secure place for the bicycles

She met us at check-in, walked us through everything, and coordinated breakfast. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us after visiting Burg Eltz that afternoon, before making our way down the river back home. Parking is on site. There are walking paths behind the house. She gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The downstairs is accessible for an open tab on wine and beverages after hours as well as access to the terrace with a view of the river. She served us, sat and chatted with guests during breakfast, and was just lovely in general. She also made our children hot chocolate in the morning, which she joked was the best in Germany- but my kids actually said it was the best they'd had! We had the studio on the top floor, which was spacious, new, the entire kitchen, spacious bathroom, and even washing machine. The interior was modern. It was very hot and there was even an air conditioner.. we felt comfortable. The apartment is walking distance from the bus and train station. I would come back any time. We felt at home dealing for a week.

The facilities were very clean and Gabi, the host, was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make my stay there pleasant.
