The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Everything was better than we thought. Accommodation, personnel, amenities, exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended to everyone and definitely we'll come back in the future.

Location, room, very good breakfast, it is a very cosy place to stay if you go skiing in Berwang.

Situated in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, near Zugspitzbahn - Talstation, Garmisch-Partenkirchen Station and Garmisch-Partenkirchen City Hall, Gästehaus Angela features a garden. It is located 500 metres from Museum Aschenbrenner and provides a housekeeping service. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Staff was friendly and approachable. Offering drinks when entering their premises. Highly recommended.

Breakfast is laid out in the morning outside the room for you to help yourself. With the tax you pay the owner gives you a travel pass to use in the area. We went on the cable car to Zugspitz which was wonderful and caught the bus just down the road. Had 2 meals at Dorfbrunnen hotel (which gives massive potions!) which is 5 minutes in the car (a bit too far to walk). Would highly recommend a stay here.
