Beautifully maintained and very neatly kept. Jutta was very friendly and helpful. We could reach there only at 10:00 pm and she sent us a taxi for pick up. The lady of the house is very helpful and allowed us access to the garage for motorbikes and evening sitting in the restaurant. The breakfasts were absolutely exceptional. Haus Friedrich is like those dream cottages/homes. Its for the best view in the village and that comes with top drawer hospitality and amenities. Mark and Jo have a penchant for doing what they’re doing and thus its easy to enjoy one’s self as a guest there with such gracious hosts.

Halstatt was by far the busiest most touristy location that we visited in Austria. It was pure magic being able to spend the night there and enjoy the quaint town after the crowds cleared out. We were enjoying drinks at the bar and locals started showing up to hang out, before we knew it there was a massive brass band that showed up in the square. We had such a fun night. The breakfast in the morning is phenomenal.
