Lovely place, large, clean and well-decorated double room. It seems like they thought of all the little details. The outdoor space is especially beautiful. Right on the beach. Lovely views. Seating areas, kayaks. Across the road is a great brewery. Looking forward to returning on warmer days.

Loved the view from our room and the sitting area on the porch, pefect to watch the gorgeous sunrises. The pool was refreshing and very clean. The property is so peaceful as there are only 9 rooms. The birds provided daily entertainment and Lazy Days Restaurant is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The kitchen is fully equipped. One night we made steaks on the grill provided by the hotel (there are 3 of them). Bought the steaks from the Trading Post, it's just up the road from the hotel and is open 24 hrs.

Location, View, Cleanliness of room we stayed in, Restaurant service & food, all excellent. Also, the young man at front that checked us in, showed us to our room, got us ice, was so nice & helpful & knowledgeable & welcoming. I think his name is JV for short. I recall he is from Homestead, too. Thanks, JV!

Everything was great, we really appreciated using the kayaks, the swimming pool and the spa. The greenery in the surroundings makes the place very delightful.

The Rock Reef Resort is located in Key Largo on the waterfront, just 4.8 km from John Pennekamp State Park.
