Loved the view from our room and the sitting area on the porch, pefect to watch the gorgeous sunrises. The pool was refreshing and very clean. The property is so peaceful as there are only 9 rooms. The birds provided daily entertainment and Lazy Days Restaurant is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The kitchen is fully equipped. One night we made steaks on the grill provided by the hotel (there are 3 of them). Bought the steaks from the Trading Post, it's just up the road from the hotel and is open 24 hrs.

Location, View, Cleanliness of room we stayed in, Restaurant service & food, all excellent. Also, the young man at front that checked us in, showed us to our room, got us ice, was so nice & helpful & knowledgeable & welcoming. I think his name is JV for short. I recall he is from Homestead, too. Thanks, JV!

Everything was great, we really appreciated using the kayaks, the swimming pool and the spa. The greenery in the surroundings makes the place very delightful.

The Rock Reef Resort is located in Key Largo on the waterfront, just 4.8 km from John Pennekamp State Park.

For us, this was a perfect place to discover Florida Keys. Truly happy to experience such a beautiful view and sunset from the waterfront! We even saw bioluminescence! Magic evening and beautiful place! The room is large and clean, if we had more money we would stay much more here! We had lunch nearby at Danny’s and it was tasty and not so expensive. There is also a great liquor store nearby. We hope to be able to come back someday.
