Phil is a wonderful host, very friendly, informative and helpful. The house and the rooms are immaculate, beds super comfortable. The place and the neighborhood are quiet, very quiet, and the street is absolutely beautiful. We visited our daughter about 10 blocks away and were out late every night, walking back to Phil's place between 11:00 and midnight each night alone by ourselves. It was 100% user friendly on the street, no safety issues at all. It is an old residential area, established, well kept and impressive.

My stay here was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is so cozy and homey — from the very first day, you feel like a truly welcome guest. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had all the little touches that make a stay special. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, which is such a big plus. The location is perfect: everything is close by, making it easy to walk around and explore New York. On my next trip, I won’t even consider another place — I’ll definitely be coming back here!

Location is perfect, path is $3 and you're 15mins from Manhattan, Room is absolutely amazing value for money, doesn't feel too bad sharing a bathroom as theres not many people using it, does the job. It was a great stay with my family. We like how they clean our room everyday even we did not ask for it. It was so good to be back in a clean hotel after a long day of walking around new york. It was close also to a bus stop so we have no problem going back to hotel without a car. It was also nice that Dunkin Donuts was just around the corner. Vending machines was available too.
