Phil is a really great host. We felt very welcome there and could even bring food from the city to eat in his living room with a gorgeous view! The breakfast was delicious and we could eat early in the morning. I really recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay. Friendly staff went out of their way to welcome us. The tea, coffee, cookies, wine/ beer in the guest lounge were very welcome. The breakfast was amazing. The quirky, funny touches added to the experience. Something at every turn.

A lovely place to stay with lots of history and character. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, pub with food across the road and only a short walk to the harbour for Doubtful Sound cruises.
