Beautifully restored building in the heart of Little India. Location is very convenient and I would prefer this over anything by the most touristic areas near Armenian street but still being within the walking distance. Comfortable room with interesting details.Good AC, fan and excellent shower. Staff is very polite and helpfull. Breakfast is excellent. One thing they might not mention; you can order warm breakfast such as eggs or Char Kway Teow.

The place is very quiet and away from busy streets yet most of tourist attractions are near by. The property is clean basic facilities like kitchen ware, coffee, tea, hot and cold drinking water etc and yeah slices of bread were always availabe on the kitchen table (i don't know wheather its for the guests or some other guests kept it for themsleves but yeah its always there and always full). Nice big lobby to read and chill. And i like the way they manage the contact less entry and exit of guests. You just get a pin code of the main door and room via email and you are good to go. Overall its a great place to be while in Penang and its quite affordable.

Our stay at Aayu Penang was absolutely wonderful! The room was clean and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We stayed in a slightly noisy area, but that was part of the charm. It’s a lively, cultural neighborhood full of character and local flavor. The location couldn’t be better—close to everything! We were able to walk to local attractions, try amazing street food, and soak in the rich heritage of Penang right outside our door. The owner is really helpful and very informative about everything. They even gave us late check-out as our flight got delayed. Also the staffs who work here are charming and friendly. We felt very welcomed here. Aayu is a great choice if you're looking for an authentic and convenient place to stay. We truly enjoyed our time here. See you next time Penang!

The location is pretty good since everything is walking distance, its a pretty chill and quiet atmosphere, perfect if you want to relax and just enjoy the city in a beautiful place. Would totally come back here if I had to! Also, the hosts are super nice if you want to experience a local recommendation they're super open and willing to help :)

If you're looking to experience staying in modern heritage house, this is the place to be. There is a shared kitchenette with microwave oven, filtered water, mini fridge. Busy street by day but quiet and peaceful at night. Walking distance to almost everything. We love our room, it's clean, spacious and good view from the window. Air con and Wifi were strong too. Not forgetting to mention, the staff were absolute helpful. The reservation team is literally one message away and they are always ready to help.
