Everything was literally perfect about this place. When we came Suresh and his staff welcomed us with open arms and immediately took care of our luggage where you don’t see everywhere. We got to have a conversation with Suresh himself for 1.5 hours about him and his life and to say the least he was one of the most interesting people we have ever met and I mean that in a good way. His way of thinking is extraordinary and he got a beautiful vision of what life is. Our needs and questions was taken care of as quickly and Suresh and his staff could and they even washed our clothes. Me and my girlfriends best stay in Sri Lanka without a doubt. Next time we’re going to Sri Lanka we are coming back here.

The family took care of everything for us. We visited the tea factory, and then they took us to the plantations. After that, they took us to the city for a walk and took us back home. They received us with tea and all convenient The place was really peaceful. The room was great, the best bed in sri lanka. Everything was really clean and comfy. Great location for walking along the railway line, making it very good if catching the train for the scenic trip Nanu Oya to Ella.or to Kandy. He enabled us to check in a little earlier and gave us a few ideas of things to do, such as walking to the local waterfall. He would have cooked an evening meal for us but we chose a place in the village where there were a lot of locals eating.

A very nice place to stay in a quiet place close to the train station. The surroundings are very beautiful, and they are very well connected with Nuwara Eliya. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, everything was very clean and family always did their best. Of course, I will repeat.

Very friendly host, rooms in the family home. Excellent food. Tea and cake on arrival. Clean comfy room, hot water shower, quiet location amongst tea bushes but also close to station.

lovely family, very friendly. we actually didnt stay there over night and just stored out luggage during the day, as it was pretty cheap, but the rooms where clean, as well as the bathroom. 5 min drive to the city center or train station.

Very lovely Place! It’s on the outskirts of the village and very quiet, lovely view of the area. The owner are super sweet, ofer a free shuttle service and the dinner and breakfast were delicious homecooked meals 🥰. Bed very comfortable and everything is super clean. Anytime again!

We arrived in the evening and used this homestay as a way to catch an early train from Nanu Oya to Ella. It was great for that purpose. The accommodation itself is as described; clean, double bed, private bathroom. Host is accommodating and cooked us dinner and breakfast. Nano Oya is a very quiet place but it is beautiful. Before the train we went on a lovely walk amongst the tea plantations.
