The hosts here were so kind and accommodating. The room was spacious and comfy with a balcony overlooking the garden. The elephant orphanage is very close by and there are some lovely poolside bars and restaurants in the area.

It's a home away from home. The staff always make sure the stay is comfortable. It's a few minutes walk to the elephant orphanage and the convenience store is just a walking distance too. I work and travel, I have a Dialog sim card which has a very good signal so I didn't even use their wifi. If you want to wake up seeing elephants from your balcony, this place is perfect. You can even hear the elephant sounds loud and clear. I hope to be back.

Grand Colonial Viveka has the best view of Kurunegala lake and it's located closer to Kurunegala city centre. Hospitality is high end, food is delicious and staff is very friendly. I felt like home with these beautiful people around. Thank you Maureen (Manager) and Senerath (MD) for managing this beautiful place alive. I'll definitely comeback when I visit Srilanka next time. Nice setting surrounded by rice fields. A bit far from center. But it was worth it becouse so peacefull. The room was comfortable and clean. The stuff veru helpful. Very good value .
