Very cozy, beautiful village house surrounded by nature. Comfortable, beautiful bed, all necessary accessories. Wonderful view of banana fields, various plants. Very nice, sincere, helpful hosts. The hosts grow a lot of different fruit near the house. Everywhere is amazingly clean. Very friendly manager Andrew. Delicious breakfast in the hotel, which is near Village Pinnawala. This village house is a refreshment for the soul!! We recommend 100 percent!! We will come back soon.

Very nice place with great hosts. Very warm and friendly people who took a great care of us during our 2 nights stay. Big and tasty breakfast! Nice views from the terrace. Each evening after sunset hundreds of bats fly above the guesthouse to their night location which is a fantastic view to watch.

Grand Colonial Viveka has the best view of Kurunegala lake and it's located closer to Kurunegala city centre. Hospitality is high end, food is delicious and staff is very friendly. I felt like home with these beautiful people around. Thank you Maureen (Manager) and Senerath (MD) for managing this beautiful place alive. I'll definitely comeback when I visit Srilanka next time. I am beyond happy to have had the chance to visit this place. I spent three amazing days at your hotel with such a beautiful view of the elephants. Waking up in the morning to see them, hear their deep sounds, and watch them roam freely in the field was an unforgettable experience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to observe wildlife while enjoying the comfort of your hotel. The terrace is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and everything is so cozy, clean, and beautifully designed. The hotel smells amazing, and it has everything you need for a perfect stay. My deepest gratitude goes to Roshan and his family for their incredible hospitality and for helping with the excursions. I am truly thankful for these wonderful three days. I was so happy to meet everyone involved in running this hotel and to get to know the culture of Penawawa. I’m already recommending this place to my friends, and many of them are eager to visit and experience the same emotions. I will definitely be back and would love to spend more time in this magical place!
