I’m in love with this place, it has everything you need, it is super beautiful, spacious, calm, the best view to the rocks, how kind the owner is, always arranging everything for you, and super close by the lion rock entrance. We enjoyed our 1 night stay here! Chaminda and his family were friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The room was of a good size for the two of us, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower pressure and hot water were acceptable. It was walking distance to Lion Rock and I also liked that Chaminda shared about the other tours or rides that he can offer (he has a tuktuk) without being pushy, and he gave us complimentary rides a couple of times too. They also provided us with a superb breakfast which included some traditional Sri Lankan food. Do note that they have a dog (which was chained) and a kitten. There were a few mosquitoes and flies in the room (quite typical in Sri Lanka) but after awhile, they were gone (might have been due to the electric pest repellent). And they didn’t bother us at all. There’s also a mosquito net that can be used to cover the bed but we didn’t have to use that. We would stay here again!

The location is amazing for detox and peace of mind. Chilling on pool was a must and listening only birds. Amazing hospitality and the most tasty breakfast we ate in Sri Lanka! Highly recommended

Very friendly owners. You could feel like staying at family's home. They were extremely welcoming & helpful. We stayed in 10 hotels in Sri Lanka & that's the cleanest & best one in our opinion. You can tell there is a European owner as everything was clean, including glass windows etc. Very tasty & fresh food every day. Great pool that you can use anytime. Pieceful surroundings, yet close to local attractions like Danbulla or national parks. Nothing walking distance apart of local houses but that's what you want there. Wish we stayed longer at Wanda's & Leo. Recommending to add their hotel to your travel itinerary & you won't be disappointed. Dziękujemy ❤️

This villa is run by a family. They are very pleasant and friendly. The owner provided the best assistance for our trip. They are quick to contact and respond. Home cooked breakfast was the best. We stayed here for 3 nights and had an amazing stay! The room was incredibly spacious and clean, and the location is very central, close to small kiosks and popular hiking trails in the area. The hosts were absolutely fantastic and helped us with everything we needed. Among other things, we booked a safari and transportation through them. I would also recommend having all your meals here, as the wife prepares incredibly delicious local food. Dinner is especially worth having here, as they make it very romantic. I would stay here again if we return to Sri Lanka!

The property is in lovely rural setting and the individual chalets are newish and nicely appointed . The food is exceptional and plentiful . I have enjoyed 3 meals per day , all brilliant . I can’t imagine why you would want to stay anywhere else . The hosts can take you anywhere you need to go . As I was unwell their hospitality made all the difference to my recovery . They went way beyond what I would have expected as I needed assistance. I will be forever grateful for their genuine kindness . Property is very clean and quiet .
