We loved our stay here - the views from the property were amazing and the rooms were comfortable and homely. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay. The dinner we had here was one of the best sri lankan meals of our trip. We would recommend this stay to anyone :)

The view from the balcony was breathtakingly beautiful. Dilshan, the host arranged a tuk tuk for us from railway station to the property and he didnt even charge for it. Offered us tea and coffee and was very friendly. Overall loved the experience of staying here. Adisham bungalow is at a walking distance from this place and the tea plantations can be see from the balcony and you can also hike through them during day time to enjoy the view from up above.

The owners are very kind and helpful people. The room and the bathroom also (with hot water and basic toiletries) were very clean, there is a nice view from the room. The room comes with some tea bags, a kettle and bottled water. Kalai prepared a nice breakfast for my request, it had some additional cost, but it was more than enough. She called a tuk tuk for me to the train station too. I highly recommend this place. :-)

This family guesthouse is a really wonderful experience. We arrived a little earlier than planned and the room was promptly made available for us. They helped with all of our questions & arranged a bike for us and we had a lovely breakfast every morning on the balcony. We had the most perfect two nights at Hapu Tales. Muni goes above and beyond as a host, and her team put so much effort into making it a relaxing and comfortable place to stay; every detail has been thought of and the team were so helpful and friendly, we really felt like we were staying with friends. We had all of our meals in and the food was brilliant, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine with lots of flavour. The location is brilliant for exploring the beautiful surrounding sites but definitely make sure you stay long enough to take the time to relax by the pool or on the terrace with the breathtaking views. We stayed two nights and were sad to leave - it’s the perfect place to recharge and relax.

What a wonderful experience here in White Monkey in Haputale ! The family room was big and confortable (not cold), prices very low, the dinner and the breakfast prepared by the mother were so excellent! The climate was really friendly and lovely, kids had fun playing with other Kids around the house. I'll reccommend It to all the families !
