The place is very cool and clean! At first the jungle around seems a bit scary, but you r absolutely safe there! The family that has the place is very kind, they show us their beautiful garden. I had an amazing experience at Mango Tree House. The place is simply beautiful – the rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. What really made my stay special was the owner – such a kind and helpful person! Always available, with great tips and support whenever needed. You can really feel the passion and care behind everything. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared and a perfect start to the day. Friendly couple welcomed us with a delicious welcome drink. We felt at home right away. The room had a mosquito net and quiet AC. We had to leave early and they were so kind to provide breakfast packages. It was great. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We were the first to stay after 4 months of maintenance, upkeep etc. which meant the site was in fantastic condition. Yonan exceeded every expectation of ours. Our chalet was large and well-maintained with a lovely little terrace overlooking the most spectacular setting. The river is lovely to paddle on using the free kayak, there are free bicycles to cycle into the local village and the breakfast is incredible. The host is one of the most generous and kind-hearted people we’ve met in Sri Lanka and could tell that he pours his heart and soul into his business. With only 3 chalets, there is a tranquil and intimate vibe - photos don’t do it justice! Such fantastic value for money

A beautiful place set in a stunning setting, simple rooms but everything you need. I loved floating in the river watching the birds and sitting by the river listening to the birds. Also the breakfast and dinner were really great. We saw a lot of animals at the safari park. The hotel driver Janaka is a very knowledgeable guide. Although many jeeps were speeding, the driver Janaka managed to get out of the way and go deep into the jungle to see the animals freely. They were very good at providing a perfect safari with perfect service.
