A wonderful place to stay! We were picked up for free from the bus station by tuk-tuk and warmly welcomed with a drink. Clean rooms and clear communication. We took a small tour with the tuk-tuk. Dinner was delicious! Breakfast too. Typical Sri Lankan food. Very hospitable, they helped us with everything! Super helpful. Definitely recommend this place!

Amazing place, walking distance to the Anuradhapura Town…We stayed for two days and had an incredibly comfortable experience. The cleanliness was absolutely 10 out of 10 – everything was spotless. Wonderful 2 nights stay at Village Life Mihintale! We were hosted by Gihan's parents (it is a family homestay), who was away on a trip. Although he was not on property, Gihan was extremely responsive to WhatsApp messages and gave us many recommendations, as well as made the communication fluid between ourselves and his parents. The room was cozy, very new and clean, a bit on the small side, but it really didn't matter as the quality and thoughtfulness put into the design of the room and bathroom were spot on. Plus a nice terrace space with table and chairs were we could relax and also have dinner. The bed was very comfy, 4 pillows provided, aircon & fan, minibar fully stocked (beers, wine, water), kettle & tea bags, clothes hanger, broom, etc... The shower has a cubicle so water does not flow all over the floor. Bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, hand towel, bath towel are available. We had twice dinner at the homestay, cooked by the mother, delicious and good price. All in all, highly recommended! Professional & honest service yet homey feeling. Bonus: we saw peacocks, mangoose and other small animals just by sitting on the terrace! Also easy road & parking at the house.

When we booked at the property the manager kalhara message me and told me he could pick us up at the buss stop for free and when we arrived at the property me showed us round and asked if we wanted tea or coffee and told me if we need anything or we need any advise about the area just to message him any time the room was top notch it was very well finished and tiled floor and nice fittings and had kettle and lots of coffee and different tea and water and he said if you need any more just let me know the next day I wanted to go and see the ancient city and temples and Kalhara and his cousin akash detailed we we should go and visit and organised a good scooter for us the next day we wanted to go to the train when we was leaving and he organised me a taxi and also the breakfast was fantastic lots of food and served outside in a nice area and also we both had a good nights sleep and the air con is really good to all in all it was a really good experience from booking and arriving to leaving 10 out of 10 from us

The owner Gohan and his family are very welcoming. The place is nice and quiet, near the city center. The breakfast is rich, you can taste some tipical specialties from Sri Lanka. Gohan kindly drove me to Anuradhapura heritage sites, shown me the place and explained some of the history of the ancient Sinhalese civilization. I truly recommend to stay with them

We spent three nights in this accommodation and it was really good. The room is big, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom with hot water. Everything was very clean. the location is very good, in a quiet street and not far from the centre. Nimal, the owner is very charming and helped us a lot giving us the information we needed. I highly recommend this place.

Viraj was a great host, he organised some bicycles for us to get about the city, and even offered some free lifts to the bus station. Took the time to upgrade our room for a very reasonable price. His hotel is beautiful and in a nice quiet location just the right distance away from the hustle and bustle of Anuradhapura.

Coming from a no aircondition bb, we loved the rooms with aircondition! Very clean with large beds, soap available (not all places have that) and great location. Close to the new bus station, shops and supermarked, and still very quiet. The breakfast was cheap and delicious with plenty of food. Owner really friendly and even offered to take us to the old bus station upon departure. We would come back any time!
