Dongparang is the best combination of contemporary meets tradition, with Hanok remodelled and refurbished with modern and adorable interiors. There’s even a swimming like jacuzzi inside the Hanok. You don’t need to bring anything except for yourself to enjoy the beauty of Korean traditional house to the max as all facilities and amenities are well taken care of. Ms. Lee is not only pretty but also friendly and helpful. The only downside, it’s a shame that parents and myself only stayed here for one night.

To be perfectly honest, I aimed to stay at this specific property when I scheduled a trip to Gyeongju, unfortunately it was only available for a night, I would have liked to stay more. The breakfast is as it seems on the pictures - excellent! The location of the property allows for easy access on foot to most attractions the area has to offer, there are also excellent restaurants nearby. Close proximity to the bus stations (intercity and express) makes quick and inexpensive transfers by cab a breeze. The lady who manages the place is really nice, although she does not speak English, she is very kind and hospitable and managed to communicate well. Her phrases in Korean translates perfectly into English with an app, so there are no misunderstandings. Gyeongju is a very unique and special city, made more special by a stay at this place. I highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! They were extremely welcoming and provided us with a ton of information and suggestions for siteseeing and transportation (while we were there and in advance of our trip). From the moment we arrived we felt very comfortable and cared for, and you could see their pride in ownership and happiness to host. We enjoyed the traditional rooms - they were spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the room stayed nice and stayed cool when it was +29celcius out. They also provided us with breakfest, which was a very nice suprise, as it was not expected. I would be happy to stay here and recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you for making our trip so special!!

Great location and lovely hosts ! We enjoyed our stay at Doran Doran Guesthouse. 5 minutes walking from main historic sites of Gyeongju. A huge free parking 150m behind the guesthouse. The breakfast was really good, with fresh fruits and eggs.
