Great location. Really well maintained. Great garden, pool and proximity to the beach. We visited the expensive resorts down the other end but the beaches not as nice and didn't have the same feel. We stayed in Bijou Room 1 for a week and would easily stay again. Really clean, new and homey. Benjamin and the team were extremely polite and helpful. They allowed us to extend our stay and booked us onto the train back to Nairobi and arranged a transfer to Mombosa. You could hire yourself a motorbike or car for the stay but we found it easy enough to flag down motorbikes or tuk tuks as needed. Just make sure you have enough change or ask to stop at the petrol station to change it.

What an absolute gem! If you are lucky enough to find availability at Beba’s gorgeous beach house, don’t hesitate. It is absolutely wonderful - a real quality home, full of love and care and the most amazing staff. Beba is often around to check in, with her adorable two dogs, but if she’s not there, the staff are always ready to help with anything you need. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious and the chef James is brilliant and makes great dinner dishes if you decide to stay in, definitely worth it! Snacks and lunch, plus a wide selection of drinks are available to order. It’s in an incredible location just a few steps from the beach, gorgeous rooms (especially upstairs with its own wonderful shady and cool terrace), fabulous food and plenty to see and do. The walks out to the sandbanks at low tide are incredible- and high tide brings swimming, kite surfing, and plenty of action. There are some beach bars and restaurants nearby (you can hear music after 10am but it’s off by 10pm) and then it’s blissfully quiet.

It was a home away from home! Agnes and her team took me in and cared for me, gave me tips, and fed me. The room is very spacious and pretty. I loved to have my own seating area infront of my bungalow although I preferred to sit in the main area on a couch cuddling the dogs.

We absolutely LOVED the place and enjoyed our stay. The host's expertise in hospitality shines through. Nancy was there to check us in. I really appreciated the attention to detail. The fresh flowers on the bed and the bathroom, the multiple towels, kikois, the thoughtful inclusion of contact information for any possible needs, Watamu guidebooks, and a collection of novels – every aspect of our stay was carefully considered. We had the entire pool to ourselves. It felt so cosy and private. The hosts responded to any queries we had and Nancy was such a delight. I loved that we were also able to check out in the afternoon without any rush. I'd love to come stay here again if I'm ever in watamu. Breakfast was fruits, toast, juice and tea or coffee. They have a kitchen where you can prepare meals. Plus, we couldn't help but fall in love with their charming cats, one of which sported a delightful mustache 😂. We were told about a resident tortoise, but regrettably, we missed the chance to meet it.

Wow , I am speechless, I loved everything, I booked last minute after total disappointment from another villa,the host was very warm over the phone and she responded very quickly. The staff at the gate welcomed us , carried our bags and showed us two rooms to choose from , the space was beautiful, the garden huge , calm and just inviting. I wanted to stay there forever. The 2 nights there was just amazing I could just stay indoors all day and night. Am definitely going back for a week stay 😁😊. Thank you and keep up the good work .
