Our hosts Luigi and Alicia were so warm and hospitable. They provided useful and helpful suggestions for hikes in the area. The breakfast was wonderful, especially the home made cakes! What a FANTASTIC location! Surrounded by the mountains , nearby the Swiss border, we found this little jewel in the peacefull area of Masera. The Lady of the house was so friendly to stay up for our late check-in , so that we still could go for dinner before ( restaurant Divin Porcello, recommanded by her also! TOP!) We had a beautiful room, amazing mountain view, the cleanliness EVERYWHERE was extreme! The silence, the peace, the pure mountain air :it all was a great relief after a long car journey on busy roads! Great breakfast also !! Unfortunately we had only 1 night at this fantastic place; but hopefully we wil come back another time! ( we were driving up north, took the Simplon pass to avoid the Gottardo tunnel with 4 hours of traffic jam!) It was THE best idea !!
