If you miss human relations, this is the place for you. You will be greeted warmly by the owners of this wonderful house. They helped us find a parking place. A family house with a very long history. The house is very well maintained, it was as if we were spending the night in a museum, where you can use the exhibits. The house combines old and new technologies - wi-fi, convenient bedside sockets and lamps, air conditioning. The room has everything you need for living, a very large bathroom with a shower and bath, tea accessories and robes. The bedroom window offers a gorgeous view of the sea. In the morning we were served a varied and hearty breakfast, including the signature apple pie. They happily told us where to have dinner and where to swim. Many thanks to the owners for the warm welcome, we felt at home. If we are in this place, we will definitely stay again.

The Bed and Breakfast is a gem in Sestri Levante - all is there, of course, if you do not expect extras which only 4- or 5-star chain hotels can boast of. This accommodation is for those who love homelike atmosphere and care. The owner, Francesco, is a great host and a person. He gives good tips on where to eat and relax, what to see and do, and how to get to the local sights which Liguria abounds with. His sister, who is also in the business, is also a great personality. I really felt at home at their place. These positive emotions fortify when you get around the property and find that the Portobello is in between two sand beaches - one in the East where the sun rises and one in the West, where the sun sets. In front there is a square with a small cathedral in it. From the windows we got stunning views of the beaches, the cathedral, and the castle which mounts behind it. The B&B is in a 10-minute stroll from the railway station, which is a pleasant walk along the small town's streets. Around the property there are plenty of shops, pasticerias, small cafes and restaurants. In the morning the hosts offer an excellent breakfast, and through the day you can get tea and coffee and some snacks. I shall get back one day, no doubts. Everything was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. There was secure parking at the rear of the property. There was a choice of eateries within easy walking distance. The breakfast was excellent, including home grown and home baked products. The hosts were very welcoming; we wished we could have stayed longer.

Def on of the best places I have ever been - both Sestri Levante + this acomodation. The flat is very spacious with a big hallway. It is located in the main street in sestri Levante BUT the bedroom is at the other side of the house of the street so when you close the door and put your AC on you are in a little heaven every time you want. Bed was comfy (just 1 mattres for both! 😍) lights were cozy, open wardrobe great for wet stuff from the sea. Bathroom fenomenal, and when you want you can watch the main street and all its bussiness from the other side of the hallway where a seat in front of the window is located. The host was amazing, we had WA connection and he gave me many tips and was there for me anytime. You are near (4 minutes max) the 2 main beaches, both different, both incredible. The city is packed with great cafes, restaurants and bars. We will def come back to Sestri Levante!
