Loved my stay there, a beautiful house in a quiet area, with such a friendly and helpful staff who made me feel like family! I liked the well decorated double room, and also the dorms were nice; they gave me a heater (it was very cold in December), the breakfast they served was delicious. The house is a little far from the town but that makes it special and peaceful, and you can walk through the sweet village to get a shared taxi into town. One evening I arrived a bit late, and they were so kind to drive me to a local restaurant and to pick me up to go back, I enjoyed interesting conversations with the owner and staff, who all spoke really good English. Thank you a lot!

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house! The place is cozy, very clean, and well-maintained. It’s in a great location with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants, which made everything very convenient. We we're lucky to catch Rococo on opening and got a sweet deal. The room was worth much more than what we paid for. Super clean, chic, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff and a great location. Truly a home away from home.

    The room is super clean and cozy. With additional small things like electric pot and couple of cups and glasses. Wooden decoration in the room makes it even more cozy. Balcony view is amazing. Located in quiet area. There are no noise makers around. Breakfast is included. We had shared bathroom and it was always perfectly clean. Thanks a lot for this.

But limited room service will be available as it is just a Home Stay and not a Hotel. Room rates of Heemstede is one of the cheapest compared to other Guest House/ Home Stay in Shillong.

    Great location, if you wanna escape the bustle. The rooms are comfortable and well sized. The hosts are great, and the food provided is good. The view around is amazing. All in all, totally worth it, if you’re seeking a quiet stay.
