Azure Paying Guest House is a lovely and cozy place to stay in Varanasi, just a short walk from Assi Ghat. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a simple, homely atmosphere. The host, Sona, is amazing—very caring, speaks really good English, and makes delicious home-cooked meals. Staying here feels less like being at a guest house and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. The rooms are clean, and the shower has hot water. Just keep in mind, that if you have large luggage, the room size might feel a little tight. It’s an experience that leaves you with lasting memories of Varanasi’s hospitality and charm. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Banaras rest house in varanasi, and overall, it was a decent budget stay with pros and cons The location is excellent, close to Dashashwamedh ghat and kashi Vishwanath temple, which makes it very convenient for exploring the spiritual side of Varanasi on foot . The staff was very friendly, helpful, and gave good local tips , which I really appreciated . However , the room is very comfort, and the cleanliness and facilities could be improved . The bathroom is very clean. Overall it's fantastic

For me, the location was a major plus point - the boutique is located right on the main road, so it’s easy to get to and there are plenty of shops around to grab a bite. It also means I was able to quickly get an auto to get to the varanasi ghats I came to see from Gurgaon. Rooms were also spacious and clean, just as showcased. The owner was on site when I was there and really sociable - he helped draw up a plan for my visit and catered to my questions on the city. I only wished I could stay longer, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to call home in a new city!

Great location with beautiful Ganga views and a sweet garden. Rahul was a kind person and wanted to help us. Quiet spot away from the noise of the city, but also walking distance from restaurants and the ghats.

Great location near the Assi Ghat and just off the main Varanasi road, so it's accessible by tuktuk. Food stalls and snack shacks on the doorstep and a wine shop just up the road. Charming staff, all part of the family, very helpful and friendly. Shared areas include two kitchens, a dining area with a small library and a roof terrace with washing lines for drying laundry. They own a motor boat that does morning and evening river trips plus a row boat for private journeys. Much cheaper than others are offering.
