A Dream stay! The house is so beautiful, very historic and all the furnitures are awesome. You really feel like you're a time traveler . The room was perfect with no tv! Which is actually a huge bonus to keep yourself in the past. Amazing couches and books selection to relax. Shower and bed were excellent. The house is well heated. Finally, James is the best host: helpful, full of information about the house and a great cook. The breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs and homemade marmelade. In conclusion, a perfect romantic night for you and your partner.

It was an excellent stay. I travelled for work and need somewhere to spend the night not to go back to Dublin and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Friendly owners, lovely room, quiet at night. In the morning I had breakfast in a luxurious Victorian dining room. Breakfast was pleasantly unusual as well, as I am not a big fan of the Irish breakfast (although that option was available as well should you want it). Overall, fantastic stay - I got back to my work commitments refreshed and in a good mood. Thanks a mil to the owners

Received a lovely warm welcome from Mary when I arrived late at night after booking for the wrong night elsewhere! Had a lovely stay in a cosy room and Mary makes breakfast in typical B+B style in the morning also. You will feel very looked after! Felt very welcome, and recommend.

Very cosy and friendly place to stay, cleanliness very good, and we were utter welcome! We got very good tips on the surroundings, where to visit, how to park, castles, caves, abbeys, cosy places to visit and stay, interesting sites, all kinds of stuff. Surely recommendable!

Great location - middle of Athy, overlooking the square (or other side). Central and close to water (boat rides), train station (5min), all sightseeing. Staff super friendly and immediate communication, flexible with arrival time, responsive. Room exactly as in the picture (we had double two single beds) - very comfortable mattress, nice bedding, soft clean carpets. Very nice basic bathroom. Kettle and teas/ coffee/ water. Delicious breakfast next door included (loved it - great coffee, yummy Irish Breakfast, veg options). Highly recommend for all who want to be in the middle of action in Athy! And bar downstairs as well if you want to feel very Irish ☘️ . Loved it! Came for a wedding and stayed all next day just enjoying the town! Very friendly places. Highly recommend. Not luxury but exactly what we love and need when we travel with my son!
