From the moment we drove through the archway entrance we were in awe. We were greeted by Michael who walked us through to the mustard drawing room for plunger coffee and tea cake. Michael was happy to answer all our questions on this simply beautiful 1740s home, exquisitely furnished over many years. We stayed in the large four poster bedroom, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was in a closet, so quirky. Breakfast was excellent and served in the beautiful dining room with all the finery you normally see only on display in cabinets. Michael provided us with crockery so that we could sit in the alcove in the beautifully maintained gardens and enjoy a takeaway meal. A midday checkout was very welcome. We enjoyed every moment in this lovely home with charming hosts.

Donal was so sweet, he waited for us even though we arrived very late (about 11:30 p.m.) He was so welcoming and lovely, giving us tips for our further trip. The room was small but very comfy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice and yummy. We wished we could have stayed longer, next time we will 😍

The property was absolutely spotless and hidden away in a quiet location but not far from amenities. It was a a beautiful room and bathroom was superb, especially as we were getting ready for a wedding. Loved that it was cosy and warm with underfloor heating in the bathroom which is a winner for me.
