The owner is very friendly and helpful. We took a wrong way and were stuck in the small rough village road and got lost. The owner showed up and drived us to his guest house. Actually the house is at the upper side of the village and the drive way is much better and easy to go. The day after, my friend had a leg bone broken, again the owner came to meet us at the glacier and arranged the ambulance and rescuers. He's so genuine and did everything for us. We are deeply moved by his kind support. BTW, the house is neat with a kitchen, the food his mother made is great. Its location is a plus, just a few metres away from the church where you'll have a great view of the sunset. We definitely will choose to stay here again.

Lovely place to stay in Ushguli. People at the reception are very helpful (helped us organize activities and the trip back to Mestia), rooms are nice and clean, there is no problem with access to the shared bathroom. The owner's dogs are huge and very friendly, and the little puppies were the cutest and an absolut highlight of our trip.

Our stay was very special here so we spent an extra night in Ushguli! The location is perfect, the vegan dinner and breakfast was tasty and very creative. Rooms and common spaces are feels like home but the biggest benefit is the host lady! She is very a kind person with huge heart. We had nice talks and I felt real and deep connection between us! I travel a lot, staying in guesthouses or apartments, but I have never ever stayed at the place like this. Absolutely amazing...You do not feel like guest, you feel like member of their big family. If I could put 20 points I will do it. 10 is not enough. Perfectly cleaned, food was delicious, we took breakfast and dinner for 20€/ day....absolutely worth it....varieties of meals impossible to eat so huge ammount. Always fresh. Warm family athmosphere. You can order transfer from Mestia or to Shkhara glacier, also horse riding. We have found new friends there and really hope to come back again.

Beautiful location and you can park 10m away without having to go down a skinny cobbled street. The owner is helpful, and there is a cash minibar full of reasonably priced and super chilled beers, wines, cokes, and waters, which is great after walking up the cobbled valley. Even though it is a wet bathroom, it was the best shower of the trip so far.
