Lovely place to stay, easy access to many locations. Anglebury House a lovely old building, and comfortable. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great and set you up for the day. Very good choice of evening meals, tasty, well presented and plenty of it. We really enjoyed our stay here. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. the location. the room was very plain and simple, absolutely charming, with a wonderful Terrasse with views of the sea. the food was great, breakfast, full English, with everything you could possibly want, snack at lunchtime excellent and dinner was always cooked to perfection, whatever we ate. finally, the staff, with no exception were all so pleasant and efficient, and charming. and special thanks to the lady who cleaned the room, every day she replenished our supplies of tea and coffee. we didn’t even have to ask!!! she is a treasure.

We stayed here to attend Tiger Day at the nearby tank museum , you would definitely need a car as it is rural, but we knew this so has rented a car. The staff were lovely, very friendly, food was good also. Desserts were our favourite part of the meals. the cheesecakes were divine.

Sebastian was extremely kind and welcoming, even with our late arrival from the ferry. He appreciated we had a long journey and was tired. The location is perfect for travel and the room is very comfortable with added extras. Everything you need is here. Highly recommend
