Had a Wonderful stay at the Bay Horse Inn, from a very warm welcome from the owner, a chat to the locals, a lovely smiley waitress who served us our meal, which we might add, was The Best meal in the week travelling we did. My husbands Steak pie and my Belly Pork, we could just eat again, Superb. Our room was warm comfortable with clean towels and tea/coffee facilities a plenty. We will definitely stay there again when passing. Thankyou

We absolutely loved the location, only a few steps from the James Herriot display, the reason we visited Thirsk. The hotel is a part of the history and the decor is very suites. The breakfast was superbly cooked by the owner,Geof who was so friendly, welcoming and full of great stories about the area

The breakfast menu was the best and most original I have seen and the quality was superb, we had a delicious breakfast. Definitely a highlight. The service was very friendly and pleasant. Dinner was also very good, and we were delighted with our room, comfortable bed, and the fantastic bathroom. We will definitely choose to stay at Valentinos when we are this way again.
