We expected a cosy accommodation in city B&B (pub),....and found so much more. A great place with very attentive and friendly staff. The room was very nice and stylish and the bed super comfy. Also worth mentioning is the bathroom which was rather spacious. Twice we had dinner at the hotel (ie. at the pub) and it truly was a fantastic and delicious experience. We can absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again should we come back to Tavistock.

A wonderful B&B in the centre of Tavistock. Lovingly furnished and caring hosts. Very nice location to explore Dartmoor and Tavistock. Nice garden and parking for free is also an asset.

Lovely welcome from Wendy and Peter. The accommodation was warm and inviting. Wonderful views from the bedroom window and the breakfast room. Lovely quiet area in the middle of the countryside. Delicious continental breakfast. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Nicky really cares about her guests! Welcome tea and an „own“ living room if you stay in a room. Everything was well equipped with new bathrooms but you still feel the atmosphere of the old house. Breakfast was delicious and there’s a special every day. We enjoyed staying here!

Outstanding place to stay, a few yards from Dartmoor National Park and its fantastic landscapes. Not far from Plymouth. Animal friendly. Ample parking space at the rear. Excellent breakfast and dinner including vegan options.

The rooms were simply and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfy. Lovely spacious bathroom and everything was perfectly clean. There was music in he pub and as the room was soundproofed, we could barely hear a thing. Staff were so friendly and made us and the dog feel welcome. Food was lovely and beautiful presented. Met a few locals who were all genuinely friendly telling us all about the local area and routes to take to the moors.
