Spotless clean. Hosts are super nice and always available. They make you whatever you choose from a provided list for breakfast (cooked, delicious). Very attentive to details - small milk in the fridge, tea coffee and cookies, ladies' toiletries in the bathroom. I would definitely visit thus lovely inn again.

I wish, I could have stayed longer in this lovely bed and breakfast. The historical estate, which is renovated with a lot of love for details, is telling stories. The big and comfy rooms and the blooming garden and the terrace, overlooking it, are fantasic. Breakfast tasted like in a star kitchen. Parking is easy. A short walk away along the Exe-river is the Crown Hotel Exmoor, which is a terrific and cosy place for the evening with excellent food and nice people!

Situated in Wootton Courtenay, 6.6 km from Dunster Castle, Dunkery Beacon Country House has a garden, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access.

This was a gem of a property!!!!! I would rate it 5 Stars. The room was beautiful, very English country style with the most comfortable bed. The en-suite came with a bath which was a real pleasant surprise. The real treat were the hosts, Andy and Tanya, prior to my stay I had lots of communication with them. I was doing an ultra bike race so I was just going to get there, sleep a few hours and leave in the early hours. Andy and Tanya made me a cook to order breakfast when I arrived at 7.30pm and made me a takeaway ham sandwich with a few treats for my journey onwards, which I really needed as there’s not many shops open where my race route was taking me at that hour in the morning. The next time I return, it will be a more leisurely stay to really enjoy this quintessential Country House.

The room was superb with balcony overlooking the Boat Harbour , very spacious ,couldn’t fault it .the breakfast excellent as was the dinner.would love to go back again .the staff very accommodating
