A lovely establishment and a great room. Parking was easy ,although on a very busy stretch of road. Easy access on foot into the centre of town . A handy location to Scone Palace, The black watch castle and other local attractions. The host was very welcoming and unintrusive.

We were welcomed by our friendly host and made to feel comfortable right away. The house is beautiful and built in the 18th century and there's a lot of beautiful antique furniture around. Our room was really big especially the bathroom which has a nice big bathtub in the middle of it. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature with Perth being a 15 minute drive away which is really convenient. We also rate the breakfast offered really high with a variety of breakfast items offered and everything being delicious. All in all we recommend staying here if you value being surrounded by nature in a beautiful country house.

This home is perfect - every detail is taken care of. We had a lovely bright room with a super-sized King bed which looked out over the back garden. Because we find Duvets too warm, the host immediately responded with an extra sheet we could use. The bedroom and adjoining bathroom are spacious with a tub and shower, lovely towels. The home is immaculate as is the garden. The breakfast room is a delightful glass room with lovely views. This is a restful spot for those travelling up or down the A9 - just a few minutes off the main road and a few minutes north of Perth.

Absolutely amazing in every aspect. I slept comfortably and got to enjoy a very tasty breakfast. The owners of the Smiddy Haugh are lovely people who are happy to help in every possible way.
