Centrally located and I loved my spacious room and equally spacious bathroom.John was the consummate host and I loved our chats over breakfast before exploring the beautiful local area. I had the best views out over a local land mark and enjoyed the privacy of the entire top floor suite to my self.Parking was convenient and free just metres from my accommodation.

I know it's advertised as a hostel but it's top class here. Looks more like a posh hotel. We had Room 8, top of the stairs, a long way up if you aren't too mobile. We advise only taking up what you need and leave the suitcases in the car. Lovely size room, good water pressure and hot water in the ensuite shower. No kettle so that means you must go downstairs for hot water to make a cuppa. Kitchen has several fridges, an oven and several cooktops, microwaves, plenty of cooking gear and china. Lovely dining room. Then there's the lounge, just so comfortable as shown in the photo's. Everything here is five star.

It was a delightful spacious studio cottage, in a quiet location with views over the hills. The sounds of birds and sheep were prevalent. The wonderful host lives next door. Plenty of free safe parking. Nothing was too much trouble. She brings over a delicious cooked breakfast in the morning. Moffat is a charming little market town. I broke my journey to and from the Outer Hebrides here, and it complimented my whole holiday.
