Very nice and friendly and helpful owners. Very good en large bed. Big room en clean, also the bathroom. Plus: close to the Great Stour Way through the Hambrook Marshes, very nice for an early morning run!

Cockpit cottage is a lovely place to stay with a dog before catching the Eurotunnel by car. The rooms are beautifully appointed and there is a common living area to share with other guests. I had the place to myself. You can make tea and coffee in the kitchenette and delicious food is available in the pub next door. There are many walks in the area to exercise your dog or to get some fresh air after a drive.

It’s so convenient for the channel tunnel. We’ve stayed twice now, both going and coming back. Rob is most welcoming and friendly. It’s a delight to stay there, wether an overnight stop or a convenient base to explore the area.
