This is a beautiful old building with such charm. The attention to detail from Edwin is obvious. The breakfast was superb, so much choice, the homemade granola was truly devine. We absolutely loved this place. If you are contemplating booking it just do it, you won’t regret it. Bathroom doorway is low, my husband is 6ft and had to duck, but it wasn’t an issue and wouldn’t stop us staying here again.

I stayed at Fonda Monserrat for the third time, and as always, it was an absolutely pleasure. And as always, the place was super clean, managed professionally, pleasant and quiet, perfectly close to sea and the marina and to shops and cafes, and with the possibility to have a great lunch at their very own superb restaurant. Had a nice room, with fresh towels daily and our bed was nice, soft and made fresh every day which exceeded my expectations! Had a solid check in and the location was perfect! The plaza in front of the hotel is a plaza with some terraces and restaurants, they have a good relaxed vibe in the centre of the city! I will definitely come and stay here again in a future visit
