Rooms were clean and large. Whole complex always smelt fresh and clean. Owners were very friendly! Breakfast was ample with a variety of fresh rolls, the type changed daily. Boiled eggs available on request. A small lockable compartment in a fridge on the landing was a very welcome find in the heat.

Our host, Josef, was very friendly welcoming and accommodating. The room was a suite with ample size for us to spread out. The beds were extremely comfortable and the radiator-type heat system worked well and was easy to control. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was strong and as hot as you wanted. The breakfast was excellent with cooked-to-order eggs and a great selection of meats, cheeses and fruits to start our day. The hotel was located in a quiet part of town but just a short walk to the center of town with its restaurants and shops. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

The lady at the reception is super sweet, very very friendly, kind and joyful. And then is the cook of the Gasthof, very friendly man and the schnitzel sandwich he gave us as welcome was perfect because right after that we hit the mountains just before sunset. The breakfast is amazingly good (please don't miss their self-made marmelade, cake and yoghurt), and we also had the opportunity to meet another member of the staff who also was super friendly and kind. The place has a beautiful decoration and the room is spatious, clean, the place is very quiet, and the bed comfortable.

Loved this 300 year old house, set in quiet suburban street in a village. Easy to find and parking on site. Our rooms were comfortable and big. I think better than portrayed in the photos. Our host was welcoming and informative. We found a local restaurant for a good evening meal and a superb breakfast at the accommodation in the morning. Would recommend this guest house. About 20 minutes drive from Fussen / Neuschwanstein castle.
