To say that we both loved this place wouldn't do it justice! Because we adored it! The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated and sitting on the terrace while sipping one of the delicious juices prepared on the spot makes you feel part of a tropical forest. The activities that you can do around Eito abound. Anyway, if you simply choose to stay inside and relax, you've got what you need - Hannelore has thought of everything, from the small details to the big suggestions and recommendations that make a difference. By the way, this is the right place to be for all vegan travellers (and not only them), as the food is delicious! I've had my favourite cachupa of the entire trip around Cabo Verde here! Thank you for making our stay on Santo Antão so special!

nice welcome, location is central, a little bit hidden but really quite and in the middle of the nature, u can hear the ocean and the breakfast on the terrace is amazing and good, the room was clean and more i expected! all in all a perfect stay!

A very nice guesthouse in a beautiful garden. The location is great. Mercaderias and restaurants in walking distance. Sonia and Nuno the host are really friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Would come again.

We had a marvelous 14 day stay at Luz d'Sol. João and his family are such lovely and generous hosts, João and his eldest son are also good cooks. Comfortable room with terrace, excellent bedding, splendid and plentiful breakfast which varies from day to day. Cidade das Pombas is the best part of the island to discover the island anyway, and João knows everything you might need to know.Totally recommended!

The view is amazing and the people running the place were lovely. The WiFi was not very stable but it's expected in the remote location and it was more than sufficient for what we needed. Everyone was very friendly and we got a lot of help arranging our day trips and transfers to everywhere. I would love to stay there again.
