If you are comparing your options right now, stop and book this one! You will not regret it, promise! We chose to stay at „La Adelita“ after reading all these amazing reviews that seem almost too good to be true but now we know they are true!! We really wanted an authentic stay and this is as authentic as it gets. 💯 Sonia, the host, was like a mum, taking care of us so warmly, making us feel like being at a home away from home. We arrived and started our stay straight away with nice conversations and wine in front of the fireplace in her cozy shared living room. She made sure that we could make the most of the two days we had in the area, borrowing us cash, organizing rides, booking tickets for us, giving us recommendations, lending us water bottles for the day, even helping us out with medication, like a mum helping with whatever we needed. 💕 One night we came back at night, and she offered us a delicious Colombian dinner for free - a soup called „Ajiaco“ - it was heavenly and we enjoyed together with wine and other guests! 😍 uhhh and talking about delicious food… the breakfast is super super delicious as well with home-made products, like fresh fig and berry jam, their own butter, freshly baked bread, eggs as you want them, freshly pressed orange juice, coffee or tea from the own garden. Best way to start the day! And finally the Finca itself - „La Adelita“ is super beautifully decorated and you feel just like in the Encanto movie. The room had everything we needed, a big shower with hot water, a big bed, storage space, and opening the window we could see the farms birds. We could also refill our water bottles with filtered water any time we wanted and our room was serviced daily. Really, the only problem was, that we didn’t stay long enough (make sure to stay longer than 2 days in the area and with Sonia). But, we already said, we will be back! Muchas Gracias Sonia and Family for welcoming us so warmly and giving us a Colombian home! 💛💙♥️

We had an amazing stay here! We arrived very early in the morning after getting a night bus from Bogata, and Jerome kindly let us drop our bags and offered us breakfast. He also gave great recommendations for things to do each day, he could not have been more helpful. The views from the property are stunning - highly recommend for a relaxing stay outside the town of Salento!

We had a great stay at this Hospedaje! The room is spacious, modern and clean, the breakfast was truly delicious. We also liked the location with immediate trails to start a hike to a coffee farm or waterfalls. Just minor things were missing for perfection, such as darker curtains (the room was very bright at 6am) or thicker walls (could hear the neighbor snoring 😄).

Yannick was extremely hospitable, giving us a lift to Salento, helping with a motorcycle rental, currency exchange and he even made it up to preparing spectacular vegan breakfasts for us! The room was very new, clean, with all the necessary appliances making our stay as comfortable as possible. The mattress was amazing and we slept very well. Breakfasts were awesome. Yannick bought especially for us a plant based milk, we got a bowl of fruits, granola, home made banana marmalade, fresh orange juice, bread and coffee. It was much more than we expected! Every morning when eating the breakfasts we could enjoy watching colorful birds chirping and jumping around and colibers flying right next to us. It is definitely a special place which deserves 10/10 reference!

It’s a newly opened finca. We liked the newly renovated rooms, bathroom was amazing, big showers with hot water (which is not that common in the region). The owner is very attentive and responsive (we were in touch through WhatsApp), the housekeeper is super nice. Breakfasts were amazing, very tasty and fresh. Located short drive away from Salento, best to come with a car or you can get taxi to the town. We had a bit trouble finding the location as it’s not yet updated in Google Maps (but saw it in Apple Maps already). It’s close to the main road but still quiet.

    Great location, only one block from the main square but very quiet. Mauricio was a great host giving loads of tips and advice on tours and places to eat in town. He also recommended loads of places to visit in Colombia unfortunately didn’t have time to see any of them
