The hosts were friendly and went over and above for our stay. They organised our tour to Uros, the floating islands and Taquile Island. They came with us to interpret as we only spoke english. The room was warm and very comfortable. The shower was warm and clean. We ate meals there at a very reasonable price. The food was very good. We met other guests from other countries and had an excellent time. We would highly recommend this property and thank the hosts for an excellent stay.

A balcony with sea views is offered in each unit. Probably our favorite place in Peru so far! Henry and Mariluz were the loveliest, the most welcoming and attentive hosts and such a lovely family. We’ve never wished more to speak fluent Spanish, but with some basic knowledge we got along quite well. We learnt so much about the life on the island from them! They also prepared abundant and delicious meals for us and gave us snacks to go when necessary. Apart from that, the location is perfect since Incatiana is a quiet village, but still close to the main plaza and to both Patchamama and Patchatata which are a must-do for hikers! And the view from the terrace is stunning. Our room was well equipped and comfortable including a hot shower and loads of blankets – Henry even gave us an electric heater in case we got cold. To sum up, we stayed for two nights, but if we could, we would even extend our stay.

I am so happy booking suggested this accommodation because I had such a beautiful time there. the view and the room is just perfect, at night from the balcony you have incredible sky, the family was so lovely and welcoming, always kind, I had different delicious breakfast every morning and even pancakes which I really missed! I booked for two nights and ended up staying four and could’ve stayed longer. I am really grateful for my time there, don’t hesitate to book if you feel tempted to go there.

Inca Manco Cápac International Airport is 46 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Gloria and Eduardo were perfect hosts. We arrived at night due to a long day of travel, and experienced a night sail on the lake to reach the hotel. It was only the next morning at first sunlight that we could discover how beautiful the surroundings are. The hotel is on a floating island (part of the Uros isles) and it does wobble a bit when boats pass by :-) The nature, the quiet, the views are exceptional. And so are the facilities : comfy bed, very clean compost toilet, shower. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Eduardo also took us to a nearby island for a short introductory course on floating island building. We also met some locals thanks to him. We would love to stay here again.

Activities such as cycling, hiking, walking tours can be enjoyed in the surroundings, and guests can relax along the beachfront. Alberto homestay taypi qamaña establo features an outdoor fireplace and a children's playground. Alberto is a great host and make sure you have everything you need. Bed was very comfortable, and it’s quiet at night, great to rest.

Located within less than 1 km of Pino Park and a 8-minute walk of Bus Station, Hostel Sol Andina Inn offers rooms in Puno. The property is around less than 1 km from Puno Train Station, a 14-minute walk from Plaza de Armas Puno and 1.2 km from Corregidor House. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared lounge and free WiFi. Herman and his colleague (I forgot her name) helped us with everything - ordering food, taxi, laundry service and most important - one of the best trips during our stay in Peru, Amantani and Taquille islands. The breakfast was good, they asked if we wanted more bread, jam etc. They have hot water. Highly recommended.

The homestay has a public bath, outdoor fireplace and picnic area, and guests can grab a bite to eat in the restaurant. This was a perfect stay. Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. My sister and i both had a huge double bed each and rhe blankets were SO COMFY. Manuel picked us up at the port for 30 soles. The food was aslo super tasty (we took trucha a la plancha and we were just amazed) Highly highly recommend a stay here!!
