You’ll get an outdoor rest room, being able to shower outside underneath the palm trees, but with all the privacy. It’s just priceless. The resort has a pool, bar, and dining area, all overlooking the lagoon. Breakfast is very good and included, being able to choose between Sri Lankan or Western. You also have a set and changing menu for dinner if you’d like to. Staff is very welcoming, kind and accomodating. It’s an amazing place to stay and relax. Totally recommend it.

The great breezes make it kite surfers paradise, and the breezes make the huge covered porch a nice place to hang out.. The family that manages very helpful, content & beautiful. They make good food, and help arrange local needs. The first night I stayed in budget room, but then upgraded for 2 nights to the larger cabana because it has better cross ventilation & surfaces to put things on. Both size rooms have your own porch with cushioned seating. Neither rooms have a/c but you don't need it with the good breezes & room fans.

Yoga classes are available at an extra cost. We had the most incredible stay at Anawasal in Kalpitiya! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a little slice of paradise. The atmosphere was so peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were gorgeous – spacious, clean, and with such a lovely rustic vibe that really makes you feel close to nature. Waking up to those views was just amazing. We loved how many activities there were to choose from. Kitesurfing was a definite highlight – the instructors were fantastic and made the whole experience so much fun. The yoga classes were also such a great way to relax and unwind after an active day. And the food – wow! Every meal was packed with fresh, local ingredients and full of flavor. They were so accommodating with dietary preferences too, which made everything so easy. What really stood out to us was how much they care about sustainability and supporting the local community. It’s not just a beautiful place to stay; it feels like you’re part of something meaningful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a unique, relaxing, and adventure-filled getaway, we can’t recommend Anawasal enough!

Every day they cooked the best home cooked meals for us and the food was SO delicious! We booked the safari with Priyashntha and he was the best guide ever! The villa was in the middle of nature and very close to the entrance of the national park. There were only two jeeps at the entrance when we arrived and we were able to watch the animals completely alone by ourselves, without any crowds. It was such a magical experience. Thank you Wild Wadi Wilpattu team for being such amazing hosts!
