I got sick during our jungle trek and had to get out through a fairly dodgy route and the staff all came together to help me get out. The hotel booked me a different hotel as the jungle guide was booked for the night I was on a trek and brought me tea and medication to help. The next day, they transferred me back to the hotel. All of the employees are absolutely lovely and make the stay well worth it!

We had an amazing time: Lovely and helpful staff, clean room, great view from the common area which are great to relax. It really ticks most of the boxes and even comes with a free gym aka the hill that you need to walk up to get there :D Laundry service and food available at extra cost too.

The accommodation provides evening entertainment and room service. This is the most amazing place to stay. I've been to the jungle in India, Borneo and the Phillipines but Rambai Tree Eco Jungle Huts not only provided the most comfortable accommodation but they made us feel like family ❤️🙏. Romi and Tia communicated efficiently and clearly from the moment I booked, several months ago. They provided a very reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable return airport shuttle - Wayhu, and the best guides - Ronie and Nanda. We saw Orangutans, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and a monitor lizard in just a half day trek! As well as being visited daily by the local Macaque troop and several large bats. Tia cooked us the most fantastic farewell dinner and we were genuinely sad to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for them ❤️

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. The family room was spacious and aircon runs cold. Although there isn't hot water for shower, the staff brought us buckets of hot water each day, and that was adequate to bathe my child. They also arranged the jungle trek for us, we were able to trek directly from the guest house. It's also located very close to the bat cave, 10-mins walk and we highly recommend visiting these caves, and with a local guide hired at the entrance. Without the guide we wouldn't have known where to go.

The owner was very friendly and helpful with organising transportation and our trip to Siberut to stay with the Mentawai Tribe (highly recommend this, if you're looking for an adventure off the beaten track). Everything looked exactly like in the pictures, the view is fantastic and the location just outside Padang means you can reach everything within 10-15 minutes by car/motorbike, but it's still quiet and a good place to relax and plan your trip. The food prepared by the owner tastes fantastic and is reasonably priced. All in all, we felt very well looked after and would definitely visit again.

Alek the owner is an amazing host, he really takes care of you. The jungle 2 day jungle trek he arranged was amazing too. The accommodation in right in the middle of the town and close to everything. The rooms are good and the bed is super comfy. All in all, I had an amazing stay here.

Situated in Iboih, 200 metres from Iboih Beach, Santi Garden Bungalows features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Rooms are equipped with a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. The bungalow was great. Clean, lots of room and the location is close to Olala restaurant and the village itself. Robi the manager is very helpful and always checking to make sure all is good. Staff were friendly. The snorkelling right of the dock (which is Olala’s but they were fine with Santi using) was fantastic most days. Definitely would return here

Super happy we stayed here. Very beautiful and clean cottage directly in front of a private beach with corals and lots of fish. Perfect for snorkeling and you can rent masks there. The restaurant was also great with nice staff. Borja and his wife super chill and helpful. Fully recommended!

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Had an amazing stay at orangutan bungalow Location was perfect, got to see orangutans, Thomas leaf monkey and long tailed macaques on the daily around the bungalow. Beautiful views and far from the hustle bustle of the town Risky and team were super helpful throughout. The gado gado was one of the best I've had in Indonesia. Wifi was far better than I expected.

At the hotel, every room is fitted with a balcony. At Sahnan Guest House the rooms come with a private bathroom. We highly recommend the place ! Andri was very kind and helpful. He arranged transportation to/from Bukit Lawang. He also arranged a day trip to the jungle with our guide Jhony whom we recommend as well! The place is by the river and absolutely lovely.
