Victor prepared for us amazing food and hight quality drinks in the middle of the jungle(!) Louis helped us plan next day and all the activities. The view is amazing especially for the sunset. We spent almost a month in Guatemala and this was by far the MOST amazing stay and like a mini slice of heaven! The owners are extremely friendly. My husband and I enjoyed the food, amazing lake views, fishing, kayaking, wildlife, and the fun boat ride with their dog. The Villa exceeded our expectations and I wish we stayed more time.

All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

The menu is simple but suitable for a few days. Rio Dulce is a 5-minute boat ride away. The sunset is amazing.

Capitania Beach is less than 1 km from Casa Nostra, while North Livingston Beach is a 14-minute walk from the property. Management and all staff were super friendly, accommodating, and professional. We also loved our view on the large balcony. The hotel restaurant is outstanding, excellent food with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We would definitely recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

At the hostel, the rooms are fitted with a patio with a garden view. The garden was beautiful, and the pool was great, especially with the heat... It felt like home, the staff was really friendly and helpful, too.

Very handy having the laundry service and great to have a lovely hot shower after staying in hostels. Great size pool.
