Love the location, the cabin was very well laid out, equipped with everything you need! We were suitably impressed by all the finer details like the coffee machine, even facial tissues in the bathroom drawer. The bed was comfortable and warm. Slept like a baby. The kitchen was small but well equipped. Well appointed cabins, love the view. Just love it. My hubby and I were completely satisfied.

A beautiful view out, quiet little beach area with picnic table to watch the local Seals. John was so very friendly, but also gave us privacy too, a perfect balance. The cabin was toasty warm even though it was windy and cold outside. The ability to wash clothes was a huge bonus for us...and a pair of binoculars to gaze out.

We loved everything about the house, the tasteful interior, the cleanliness, the comfy bed, the quiet and safe neighbourhood, the facilities, and most of all the view! Sunset from Lochanside is truly spectacular! Mark and Ann were really lovely hosts, too. Ann was there to welcome us in person when we arrived, despite it being quite late at night already. We truly appreciate being able to stay there although we wish we had more time to stay longer.
