The hotel itself was perfect, very well equipped, very clean, with the loveliest and most helpful staff. Shout out to Kamal, who went off his way to provide a good stay - from the communication prior arrival with clear instructions on everything, the comprehensive list of things to do, the spot on restaurant suggestions, and lastly but not least, the delicious breakfast he prepared fresh, every morning! We are non meat eaters, and every morning he replaced meat elements by something else we could eat, even though we did not ask for that. The location of the hotel is bang on the center of the colonial district, on the buzzing, car free, Calle el Conde. This allowed us to explore everything on foot, which was great.

Location is great, we walked to all the old city attractions in Zona Colonial. Francky, the owner is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home! He explains all you need to know from a place to exchange money to restaurants and supermarket, and I got to practice my French along with my Spanish. The instructions about the code to the front door and the room were clear, and he was there when we arrived, took us to our room and explained all. Room was big and clean, as well as the toilet. The air con was great and the air con light can be turned off so you can sleep better at night. We decided to have breakfast there and it was ok, had fresh fruit, juice, coffee, bread and eggs. There's water on the room but all mornings before we left we would ask for a bottle each to take with us while sightseeing. I will definitively stay there if I return to Santo Domingo

It is a beautiful colonial house with few exclusive rooms that meet all expectations. It has a superb breakfast a la carte and a convenient swimming pool (small but cosy). The Hotel Manager Ramón really makes a difference. He is super friendly, gives many tips to visit the old center and is always available to support during your stay. Additionally, the staff working there is very helpful and make an effort to make you feel comfortable. Highly recommended!!!

Located right on the Malecon seafront boulevard, the Crowne Plaza Santo Domingo features an outdoor pool and whirlpool, a casino and a spa. It was nice and very clean The staff was Great!
