Fantastic stay at the Timothee resort. Gorgeous renovated hotel. Clean, nice furnishings in the room, staff at reception were brilliant. Five minute drive to the jetty which was perfect. Or a 10 minute cycle. We will definitely go back. Amazing curry pot restaurant attached, real authentic Indian curry.

There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a year-round outdoor pool. The cabin we stayed in looked less than one year old and was well appointed, clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. On the end of "town beach" but close to bus service and walking distance to the museum and several bars and restaurants. Not under the flight path!

There are IGA, Bakery, Butcher shop and a take away place within walkable distance. The powerful shower is the best of our 3 months trip ! The hospitality of the host is superb with so many details to cater more than we could ask. The unit is not huge but it furnished in a very cozy and practical way. We didn’t use the cooker provided as there are many food restaurants within walkable distance few minutes drive away. The filtered water for drinking is also a bonus. We found a little treasure box under the tv and it’s filled with all sorts of sweets and chocolate 😋our two day stay was very enjoyable and would recommend highly.
