It is about a 15-minute pleasant walk to the centre but very near the funicular station and the main bus stop. Further down the street from the apartment towards the lake is a fantastic viewpoint of the postcard picture of the church without the tourist crowd and we only discovered it on our last evening. The host Monika is very nice and she let us keep our luggage at her gas station which is super near on our checkout day. We highly recommend this apartment!

We loved everything about our stay! The location was perfect, close to everything so easy to stop back to the room for a rest if needed. The whole team was welcoming and efficient with check in, and also very informative about local activities and dinner options. The shared bathrooms were very clean, and we never had an issue with getting one when we wanted. Our room had an amazing lake view, where you could hear music wafting up from the main square in the evening. It was charming, and we would not hesitate to book here again if we return to Hallstatt once more.
