Our experience was great! Our car broke down that day and the staff were really responsive via phone in case we needed a pickup from the nearby town. In the end we made it in very late at night, but we were able to go straight to a beautifully made room. The breakfast is amazing (definitely best breakfast in Mozambique) and the view from the accommodation across the beach and sea is incredible. We had to leave a little earlier than we wanted to but the staff were amazing about that too.

We expected a nice house on the beach, but we got a true palace on the best location in Tofo. We couldn't believe how nice the house was and how beautiful and perfect the location is. You are right next to the center of Tofo and close to many bars, shops and restaurants (>2 min walking). With the front yard you get your privacy from the small sandy street (where the occasional beachgoer passes you, no cars) on the terrace in the shade with a unobstructed view to the ocean. You'll be out of bed and in the ocean within 30 seconds in the morning. Rooms and both bathrooms are very tidy, all equipment is there in the kitchen (very modern!). For hot nights you'll have airconditioning but you can also leave the door to the ocean open for a fresh breeze. Lastly, the team that welcomes you is very nice and the contact with the owner is very easy via WhatsApp. They really care if you have a good stay in Tofo and will help you with anything you need. Hope to stay here again!!

Fabulous place, the location is incredible, cant get much closer to the beach than this. the sound of the ocean as you lay in bed at night sooths you to sleep along with the cool breeze. The couple that host the venue Sonette & Jose- are lovely warm people that really made me feel at home. All meals were fantastic, 3 courses each time, perfect breakfast for a long day on the beach. The beach and surroundings were so beautiful, the sun rises directly in front of the villas for those who like to get up early. The area felt very safe, the locals were welcoming a friendly. couldn't have asked for a batter stay, hope to see you again Sava (Sonette & Jose)

Great location right on the beach with a stunning view from the pool and restaurant. Very professional set up for diving. The rooms are very basic but comfortable. Breakfast portions and choices were good.

Baia Sonambula was amazing! The guesthouse was incredibly beautiful, and located right on the beach. The facilities were top notch, and staff very helpful and friendly. The room I stayed in was absolutely beautiful, with a private terrace. Baia Sonambula offered a bit of privacy and a safe haven to relax at Tofo beach. I would definitely stay here again, very much worth the price. The amazing breakfast, complimentary coffee, and available filtered drinking water on offer were a great addition.

Dreamlike accomodation right on the beach and everything was working perfect. Very hot showers with strong water pressure, best mattress I had for years. Very good yoga classes for free.

Everything in the breakfast was homemade and delicious. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The rooms are large and comfortable and face the ocean view. The location is very convenient close to restaurants and other entertainments on the beach.
